The organisations listed below offer supported placement opportunities for voluntary work abroad. Each organisation arranges work experience programmes in the host country, dealing with all your work permit and visa arrangements. They also offer pre-trip familiarisation and ongoing support during your placement with local representatives in each host country. Successful applicants are usually required to pay a placement fee and expected to make a contribution to some or all of their travel and accommodation costs. Some volunteers are paid a small living allowance in local currency during their work experience programme. You will usually have the opportunity to travel within the host country at the end of your placement.
